The first Friday of every month, we will be showing old sci-fi films on the dome of the planetarium. The night will start with a pub-style trivia contest at 6:30 followed by a bad, sci-fi film at 7:00.
Feel free to bring your own popcorn and drinks. We'll have a couple of microwaves to use for your popcorn. Please make sure your drinks are in sealable containers to minimize spills.
All shows are free and open to the public, and families are always welcome. You do not need tickets or to make any reservations. The capacity of the Pretlow Planetarium is about 90 people. If we reach capacity then we will close the doors to the planetarium. The doors to the Planetarium will open at approximately 6:10 with the trivia to begin at 6:30.
We are located on West 45th Street, one block west of Hampton Boulevard. Parking is available in the Elkhorn Avenue Garage at the corner of Elkhorn Avenue and West 43rd Street. There is metered parking on the first floor for $1.25 per hour.
