Abstract: This project consists of the construction of a 13,400 square foot addition adjoining the existing commons area of St. Olaf Catholic
Church, located in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Unaka Baptist Church - Activity Building

Students: Jenna Bush, Kyle Goulden, and Jeremy Hansen

Abstract: This project is based on the design team acting as the Engineer of Record. The design team is responsible for specifying the loads and local building codes, analysis and design of a free-standing mezzanine, foundation design, structural plans and specifications.

Route 460 Business - Cox Road Bridge Replacement

Student: Zachary Jones

Abstract: The intent of this project is to give an accurate estimate and schedule for the bidding process. This estimate is an accurate reflection of all risk, burden and profit for the demolition and installation of the new route 460 bridge over Norfolk Southern's railroad. This Design-Bid-Build was released by VDOT in the summer of 2015 in hopes to create a bridge that will allow for a higher volume of traffic to use the bridge as well as allowing pedestrians to walk safety across the superstructure. Catawba Estates Subdivision

Student: Derek Jones

Abstract: A subdivision is designed on a tract of land in Roanoke County Virginia. The subdivision contains 37 lots of various acreages. A storm water drainage system is designed to drain roughly one third of the site. The site is also designed to provide sanitary sewer collection and water distribution services, both of which connect to existing systems.
