Comm & Theatre faculty member named University Advisor of the Year at SEES Leadership Awards

Brendan L. O'Hallarn, Ph.D., lecturer, in the Communication & Theatre Arts Department, was named the University Advisor of the Year at the SEES Leadership Awards event on April 19. Dr. O'Hallarn is the faculty advisor for the ODU Chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America, an organization that promotes careers, networking and education in the PR field. Chartered in 2014 at ODU, the group hosts an annual fall Internship Fair and takes a spring trip to agencies and public relations departments, most recently visiting Charlotte, N.C.
