At the new Michael and Kimthanh Lê Planetarium
New Chemistry Building, Room 1001
The first Friday of every month, we show classic sci-fi films on the dome of the Lê Planetarium. The night will start with a trivia contest at 6:30 followed by an old sci-fi film at 7:00.
May 6th
6:30 pm – Trivia
7:00 pm – The Killer Shrews (1959)
"On an isolated island, a small group of people are terrorized by giant voracious shrews in the midst of a hurricane."
1) New building! Our address is 4501 Elkhorn Ave. We are part of the New Chemistry Building.
2) Tickets are $3 per seat. Cash, credit, or debit accepted at the door.
3) No early reservations for tickets. Seating is first-come first-serve with tickets purchased at the door.
4) In accordance with Old Dominion University, we require all visitors and staff to wear face masks that cover both the mouth and nose fully, regardless of vaccination status, in all public indoor settings.
