Racism & Colorism: A Global Perspective

Registration is open now! Join the Women and Gender Equity Center on March 2nd, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for a free virtual event in support of our Women’s History Month programming on Racism & Colorism: A Global Perspective. This is a moderated, student-led panel discussion including voices from the AAPI, African, African-American, and Caribbean communities on the impact of racism and colorism, a within-group and between-group prejudice in favor of lighter skin color, as experienced or witnessed firsthand, both in the U.S. and abroad, and how to heal from the harms caused by these experiences.
