Taking Measure: Shakespeare in the #MeToo Era

In Taking Measure, writer/director Chris Hanna uses Shakespeare's troubling play, Measure for Measure, as a path to explore complexities of today's Me Too movement.  Five hundred years after Shakespeare wrote his drama of male entitlement and misconduct, a female student navigates similar dynamics at her own university.  When her relationship with her popular English professor turns sexual, she must ask whether Shakespeare belongs in today's classroom at all.  Both controversial and compelling, Taking Measure is a 500-year journey, written for today.
