Become an Outdoor Trip Leader for Recreation & Wellness! 

 

Do you have a passion for the outdoors? 

The Outdoor Adventure Program at ODU offers students a unique and valuable opportunity to guide peers as an adventure trip leader. 

To become a trip leader, accepted applicants must complete a semester-long apprentice training program. Participants will learn outdoor skills, become proficient in wilderness safety, develop leadership traits and establish a better understanding of themselves. 

 

Application Deadline: September 10 

In-Person Interviews: September 13 – September 16 

Final Apprentice Decision: September 17
