Masks Required at the Student Recreation Center
Beginning August 16, 2021, masks are required to be worn over nose and mouth when inside the ODU Student Recreation Center.
Exceptions include:
- When actively participating in a Recreation & Wellness sponsored program (group exercise, intramural sports, rock climbing, etc.)
- When exercising on the indoor track and on cardio equipment
- When actively participating in informal recreational sports
Please note that masks are required for those strength training, spectating basketball on the sidelines, walking to the water fountains, and other similar instances.
Please do not enter the SRC if you feel unwell or have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath. If you have any questions, please email us at recwell@odu.edu. Failure to comply with these policies will result in a verbal warning. Continued failure to comply will result in removal from the facility and potential suspension of membership.
