JAZZ IMPROVISATION COURSE FOR THE FALL, OPEN TO ALL

MUSC 337, Jazz Improviation 1, is open to ALL majors.  This course is designed to introduce musicians to the art of improvisation, starting from the beginning.  A basic knowledge of theory is needed, including knowing intervals and key signatures.  Competency on an instrument or voice also needed.  Contact Professor Toomey at jtoomey@odu.edu w any questions.  Course meets Tues and Thurs from 3:15-4:05 in rm 1201, DFPA.
