Looking for undergrad and grad students to help with REYES

Overview: This assistantship role is designed to support Old Dominion University’s Remote Experience for Young Engineers and Scientists (REYES) programs and operations. The function is to help produce educational programs and outreach through administration, research, and implementation. Ideal candidates will be organized and motivated with refined attention to detail and interest in STEM-H, community engagement, higher education administration, communication/marketing, international relations and/or education.
The position could serve in one or multiple of these responsibilities:
- Teaching Assistance: Helps develop/implement STEM-H educational content for one of the virtual classes hosted in REYES.
- Outreach: Assists with promoting the program among REYES participants, high schools, embassies, space grant consortiums, and other education and research partners.
- Administration: Assist in program registration and evaluation and special events planning.
The position is offered for 6 weeks of the summer, from June 21st to July 30th. It will take about 15 hours of work per week.
