DiversABILITY Training
The Offices of Educational Accessibility and Intercultural Relations invite you to our Spring 2021 virtual DiversABILITY Training. DiversABILITY is a very important allyship training program for ODU faculty, staff, and students who want to further social justice for individuals who experience disability. It is imperative that we all have a better understanding of how to help break down the barriers that exist to shape a more inclusive ODU environment.
The Fall 2020 DiversABILITY Training for will be held virtually on Thursday, February 18 from 3-5 PM. Those completing the training will receive a certificate of completion. Below you will find the learning goals associated with the training.

- Explore laws and policies regarding disability support
- Gain a cursory knowledge of various types of disabilities and impact on students
- Engage in dialogue about how to create a more inclusive environment at ODU for community members with disabilities
- Construct a personal and organizational action plan.
I hope you will find time in your busy schedules to attend this training. Please RSVP at the link below and we will send you a zoom link to attend.
