50th Anniversary Moon Landing Contest!
The Center for Educational Partnerships, the Virginia Space Grant Consortium, the ODU Libraries, and the Slover Library presents the 50th Anniversary Moon Landing Contest; “Voyages and Discoveries: Cross- Generational Reflection on the Significance of Space Exploration”
Did you watch the amazing historical event when man first walked on the moon? What do you think will happen in space exploration in the future? Share your stories and ideas and win great prizes!
Form two-person team; consisting of an adult along with a child or teen, ages 4-19. Have a discussion of this amazing event and create a written story, poem, or dialogue and an illustration of your written work. Slover Library website has a starter questionnaire along with contest workshops to help you get started with your entry. Workshops are not necessary for entry.
Prizes range from a AstroMaster 70 AZ telescope to a SNAPTAIN S5C Wi-Fi FPV Drone with 750P HD camera!
Applications are open online through July 31.
