Changes to McAfee for Home Use
Beginning July 1, McAfee anti-virus software will no longer be available for personal use. If you have an ODU-licensed copy of McAfee installed on your personal computer, it won’t receive software updates or virus definitions after July 1.
Since anti-virus software is only effective when it knows the latest virus definitions, we strongly recommend that you uninstall McAfee and switch to a new anti-virus solution. We have more information on our web page: odu.edu/its/news/2018/6/mcafee.html.
