Join Career Development Services for an AVID Tutor Information Session!
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a research-proven, college-readiness system designed to increase the number of students who enroll and persist in four-year colleges or universities.
Virginia Beach City Public Schools is looking to hire students as AVID Tutors and will be providing more information about the positions. For more information about the position, please see the attached flyers. This is a great part-time employment opportunity for juniors, seniors, graduate and doctoral students, who are ready to work with middle and high school students during the school day.
If you cannot attend an application workshop and would still like to be considered, please inform Linda Love at linda.love@vbschools.com when you have submitted a VBCPS online employment application. The online application closes on Thursday, September 21, 2017.
