National Museum of African American History & Culture: Student Trip

Greetings!

Old Dominion University students are invited to visit the new National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) in Washington DC. To date, the Museum has collected more than 36,000 artifacts and is the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture.

The trip will take place on Saturday, February 18, from approximately 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Transportation, museum admission, lunch, dinner, and snacks will be provided at no cost to students.  Participating students will attend a post-trip discussion at 5:00 PM on Monday, February 20 (exceptions made only for those with class at that time).
