Success Workshops This Week: DegreeWorks Drop-ins and "Goal Setting & Time Management"
<p style="margin: 0px 0px 9px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; vertical-align: baseline; color: rgb(68, 68, 68);"> Academic coaching is a service for students who want to improve their academic and self-management skills. </p> <p style="margin: 9px 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; vertical-align: baseline; color: rgb(68, 68, 68);"> Academic Coaches will be available to 1) conduct 1-1 sessions with students on strengthening academic skills (time management, note taking, etc.), 2) teach academic success workshops, and 3) provide support for generating multimedia content (such as ePortfolios). Coaches work collaboratively with students to identify unique learning strengths, develop individual plans for academic support, and promote self-confidence and independence.</p> <p style="margin: 9px 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; vertical-align: baseline; color: rgb(68, 68, 68);"> Need a workshop for your students?
