MARI/CCPO Seminar Series - Sept. 8
<pre wrap=""> The first seminar for the joint Mitigation and Adaptation Research Institute (MARI) and the Center for Coastal Physical Oceanography (CCPO) seminar series will be given by Dr. Hans-Peter Plag, the Director of MARI. MARI is a new initiative at Old Dominion University that is focused on finding solutions and options for mitigating and adapting to the impacts of climate change and sea level rise. This seminar will provide an introduction to MARI and outline the research agenda that is being developed to provide knowledge that is needed to cope with the impacts of climate change and sea level rise in coastal regions. The attached announcement provides more information.</pre> <p> Please note the location has changed for the fall semester. Seminars are now held in the first floor Conference Center in IRB II in the Village. </p>
