Football Game Notice for Resident Parking Permit Holders
<p> Dear Resident Student,</p> <p> There is an ODU home football game this Saturday vs. Marshall.</p> <p> Any vehicle parked or located inside<strong> Garage “E”, Lot 27 or any other surface parking lot/area reserved for football </strong><a href="http://www.odu.edu/content/dam/odu/offices/parking-and-transportation-services/docs/odu-football-parking-map-mm.pdf"><strong>(see Map of Reserved Football Parking)</strong></a><strong> WILL BE TOWED and ticketed ($77.00 fine) beginning at 5:00 AM at Saturday, October 4th, 2014.</strong></p> <p> <strong>You can relocate your vehicle <u>Friday, 10/03/14</u> starting at 3:45pm to: Garage B </strong>(near the Library), <strong>Garage C</strong> (near the TED), or<strong> Garage D</strong> (near the TED). If you are parked in Lot 32 (next to Powhatan I) you do not have move your vehicle. However, if you are parked in Lot 42 (next to Whitehurst) you must move your vehicle. You may return to your normal parking area at any point on Sunday. Your vehicle <u>must</u> be returned to your pre-Football parking area by 6:00 a.m. on Monday.</p> <p> All unauthorized vehicles parked in the football reserved areas will be relocated to parking Lot 43 near the intersection of 43rd Street and Powhatan Avenue. </p> <p> For those who do not want to walk back across campus for various reasons, the Monarch Loop runs every 15 minutes at night and runs until Midnight. It will pick you up on Monarch Way to assist you in getting back to your resident hall. The shuttle stop is located on Monarch Way at the University Village Bookstore. Live GPS tracking of the Monarch Loop is available at <a href="http://odutransit.com/"><strong>ODUTRANSIT.COM</strong></a>, which can be viewed on any internet or Wi-Fi device so you do not have to wait outside.</p> <p> For additional information, please feel free to contact Parking Services at 683-4004.
