Banned Book Month @ Village Bookstore

<p> &nbsp; The Village Bookstore celebrates <strong>BANNED BOOK</strong> month with a collection of titles that have been pulled off the shelves</p> <p> for the messages they deliver.&nbsp; These include such works as:</p> <p> <strong>The Giver by Lois Lowry</strong> (the book won the prestigious children&#39;s John Newbery Medal)</p> <p> <strong>The Fault In&nbsp;Our Stars</strong> by John Green (a New York Times #1 bestseller)</p> <p> <strong>Mockingjay -</strong>part of <strong>The Hunger Games</strong> series-by Suzanne Collins</p> <p> Support the principle of intellectual freedom by reading these and other works that have been banned or challenged.</p> <p> <em>There will be activities at the University Perry&nbsp;Library in support of freedom of expression on Tuesday, Sept 23rd with a</em></p> <p> <em>&quot; Read Out &quot; @ 12:30 and a discussion later that evening honoring Constitution Day.</em></p> <p> &nbsp;</p>
