Where the Music Comes From – Cantabile Project Recital

<p> <strong>Cantabile Project</strong> will present their first recital of the season on Sept. 29, 2014 at Chandler Hall at 7:30pm.&nbsp; Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for students.</p> <p> <strong><em>&ldquo;Where the Music Comes From: what motivates us to sing?&rdquo;</em></strong> features contemporary classical and cross-over songs from the 20<sup>th</sup> and 21<sup>st</sup> centuries by composers such as Heggie, Bernstein, Hoiby, R.I Gordon, Barber, Weill, Cipullo and Pasatieri.&nbsp; Many of these songs are hysterically funny!&nbsp; They exam the personality of the singer often poking fun at the artistic nature of all performers.&nbsp;&nbsp; Some of Hampton Roads finest, professional singers will bring you to tears of laughter and sometimes sorrow as they share their lives with you.&nbsp; This is a most unusual recital, not to be missed!</p> <p> Go to our website (<a href="http://cantabileproject.org">http://cantabileproject.org</a>) for complete information.</p>
