Chris Claremont: X-Men Writer Signed Copies
<p> <b>Christopher S. "Chris" Claremont, </b> <a href="/wiki/Comic_book" title="Comic book"><font color="#0645ad">comic book</font></a> writer and novelist, was recently on the campus of Christopher Newport University and the Village Bookstore was able to secure signed copies of three of his works.</p> <p> He developed the character of<em> <strong><a href="/wiki/Wolverine_(comics)" title="Wolverine (comics)"><font color="#0645ad">Wolverine</font></a></strong></em> into a fan favorite. <i>X-Men</i> #1, the 1991 spinoff series premiere that Claremont co-wrote,</p> <p> remains the best-selling comic book of all time, according to <a href="/wiki/Guinness_World_Records" title="Guinness World Records"><font color="#0645ad">Guinness World Records</font></a>.</p> <p> Those three works are:</p> <p> <em><strong>Wolverine, Gambit and X-Men: Days of Future Past</strong></em></p> <p> For more information, please contact the Village Bookstore at 683-0048.</p>
