He is fluent in Georgian, Ukrainian and Russian. General Brand is a graduate of the United States Military Academy. He has served in a variety of command and staff positions in the United States, Korea and the Middle East and is currently assigned as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Policy, Headquarters Supreme Allied Command Transformation, NATO. He served as United States Defense and Army Attaché in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Georgia.</font></font></p>
