MARI & CCPO Seminar Series - Nov. 17

The Nov. 17 seminar in the joint Mitigation and Adaptation Research Institute (MARI) and the Center for Coastal Physical Oceanography (CCPO) seminar series will be given Dr. Richard Miller from the Institute of Coastal Science and Policy at East Carolina University. Dr. Miller's research interests focus on the role of estuaries and coastal margins in global biogeochemical cycles, with particular focus on these systems as repositories of carbon and terrestrially-derived materials such as nutrients, sediments, and particle-bound contaminants. Dr. Miller's seminar will present results from a study designed to investigate material transport to the coastal ocean by rain events. For more information on Dr. Miller's seminar, see the attached announcement.
