Recreation & Wellness is Looking for a Student Graphic Designer! Come work at the SRC!

<p> The Recreation &amp; Wellness department is currently searching for a student graphic designer to work in one of the best departments on campus - approximately 20 hours per week - creating flyers, t-shirts, and all sorts of other multimedia promotional material for the Rec &amp; Well department / Student Recreation Center. Come get involved with campus recreation! We love to have fun and have a strong focus on both student and career skills development.</p> <p> <strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong><br /> &bull;Assist with the development, design, and distribution of promotional materials, including: flyers, brochures, t-shirts, posters, banners, and program guides<br /> &bull;Provide assistance with department-sponsored special events<br /> &bull;Compile and maintain the Recreation &amp; Wellness archives including pictures, articles, advertisments and other materials.<br /> <br /> <strong>Requirements:</strong><br /> &bull;Skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop<br /> &bull;Willing to share ideas and work with others<br /> &bull;Must be available to work up to 20 hours a week<br /> &bull;All qualified students are encouraged to apply<br /> <br /> <strong>Preferences:</strong><br /> &bull;Familiar with photography<br /> &bull;Interested in Fitness and Wellness</p> <p> <br /> We are looking to have the incoming student start training at the beginning of next semester, in early January.<br /> The incoming student will work directly with our two current student designers, under the Graduate Assistnat for Marketing and the Assistant Director for Marketing and Promotions.<br /> <br /> For more information or interest on how to apply, contact Shevonne Morgan at: s1morgan@odu.edu.</p>
