Call for Collaboration : International Education Week

<p> International Education Week (IEW), a joint initiative between the U.S. Department of States and U.S. Department of Education, is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and student exchanges worldwide (<a href="http://www.iew.state.gov/">www.iew.state.gov</a>).</p> <p> Date of IEW: Nov 17-21, 2014</p> <p> &nbsp;Through the University&#39;s commitment to campus internationalization and global engagement efforts, the Office of Intercultural Relations(OIR) invites and encourages colleges/ offices/departments/and organizations to host an event, to share a story, research, knowledge, expertise, and/or to celebrate your program(s) that promote campus internationalization and its impact on student learning and success.</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> OIR will submit your event to the IEW U.S. Department of States to be included on the IEW Official Website and will include your event in the ODU-IEW Calendar of events. To have your event featured on the calendar, please complete the registration form at <strong><a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1R9bgyHbEmQZQCXJyv8ab3Km5Ouc1pdGVWNbpQdDYnyo/viewform">IEW Submission</a>. </strong>The deadline to register has been extended to Wednesday, October 15<sup>th</sup>, 2014.</p> <p> For more information, ideas, and consideration for collaboration please contact: Rachawan (Aey) Wongtrirat, Assistant Director for International Initiatives, Office of Intercultural Relations.</p>
