MARI & CCPO Seminar Series - Nov. 3

<pre wrap=""> The Nov. 3 seminar in the joint Mitigation and Adaptation Research Institute (MARI) and the Center for Coastal Physical Oceanography (CCPO) seminar series will be given by Dr. Muge Akpinar-Elci from the Center for Global Health, College of Health Sciences, Old Dominion University. The emergence of new diseases and changes in the prevalence and intensity of other diseases are two of the possible consequences of climate change. These and other climate-related public health issues directly impact human populations. Dr. Akpinar-Elci will discuss these risks and potential adaptation and mitigation responses.
