MARI/CCPO Seminar Series - Oct. 20
<pre wrap=""> Today's seminar in the joint Mitigation and Adaptation Research Institute (MARI) and the Center for Coastal Physical Oceanography (CCPO) seminar series will be given by Jennifer Irish from Virginia Tech. Dr. Irish's research is focused on the physical impacts of coastal hazards, with particular emphasis on the effects of storm surge, tsunami inundation, and erosion. Her seminar will present results from a study that considers the risks of coastal flooding that result from the combined effects of sea level rise and storm surge. This is relevant to the Hampton Roads region. See attached announcement for more info.</pre>
