Library Workshop - Open Tools for Data Work

<p> When:&nbsp;<strong>Thursday, October 16, 2014 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM</strong></p> <p> Where:&nbsp;<strong>Room 1306, The Learning Commons @ Perry Library</strong></p> <p> This workshop will introduce a number of tools for working with data, with a particular focus on R, RStudio, and OpenRefine. Though introductory, participants will be expected to get their hands dirty, and there will be plenty of examples throughout.</p> <p> Contact Topher Lawton, clawton@odu.edu for more information and to register.</p> <p> Please, if possible, bring a personal laptop with you.</p>
