New Student Organization - Taking Action to Create Positive Change

<p> <strong>ENACTUS INFORMATION/PLANNING MEETING, Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, Constant Hall 1005, 12:30-1:20 p.m. (lunch provided)</strong></p> <p> Are you a student who is interested in creating positive sustainable change in society? Are you looking for ways to apply the skills you are learning in the classroom toward solving community problems? If these are your goals, Enactus is the organization for you.</p> <p> Enâ actâ us stands for:</p> <ul> <li> <strong><u>En</u></strong><u>trepreneurial</u> &ndash; having the perspective to see an opportunity and the talent to create value from that opportunity;</li> <li> <strong><u>Act</u></strong><u>ion</u> &ndash; the willingness to do something and the commitment to see it through even when the outcome is not guaranteed;</li> <li> <strong><u>Us</u></strong> &ndash; a group of people who see themselves connected in some important way; individuals that are part of a greater whole.</li> </ul> <p> We are an international organization comprised of students committed to enabling progress through entrepreneurial action.&nbsp;Membership is open to&nbsp;undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines.
