April 4th - Spotlight on Scholarship
<p> <em>Spotlight On Scholarship Featuring STEM & Professional Studies, this Thursday, April 4 at Perry Library<br /> <br /> For the Spring 2013 semester, the University Libraries will shine a spotlight on the research and recent scholarly output of the Department of STEM Education & Professional Studies. The STEM Education & Professional Studies faculty is world renowned for their teaching, research, and service. Their areas of research are diverse and include fashion retailing, game and simulation development, development and implementation of learning technologies, policies that address sea level rise, research apprenticeship programs, STEM teacher education, and much more.<br /> <br /> An exhibit in the Learning Commons from March 15-April 15 will feature statements of current research as well as selected journal articles and books from the past five years.<br /> <br /> <strong>Faculty members from the department will present and discuss some of their recent work at a reception in the Learning Commons Conference Room on Thursday, April 4 from 3:00-5:00 pm. Refreshments will be provided.</strong></em><br /> </p>
