CCPO Seminar - Nov. 11
<pre wrap=""> The CCPO seminar for Nov. 11 will be given by Dr. Dennis McGillicuddy from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Dr. McGillicuddy will present results from the Processes Regulating Iron Supply at the Mesoscale (PRISM), which is a multidisciplinary study focused on understanding iron supply in the Ross Sea. The PRISM project is a continuation of Dr. McGillicuddy's research program on the role of mesoscale eddies in regulating nutrient supply in the ocean. The PRISM project involves several researchers from CCPO, OEAS and VIMS.</pre> <pre wrap=""> Coffee and cookies are at 3:00 p.m. and the seminar begins at 3:30. The venue is Room 1202 of the Engineering and Computational Sciences Building.</pre>
