Haul for Hunger Service Opportunity
<p> <strong>Haul for Hunger Service Opportunity </strong></p> <p> Old Dominion University’s 3rd Annual Haul for Hunger event will be held October 27th from 12:00 noon to 4pm on the Kaufman Mall. Join us as we package fresh, local produce to local families in need. Everything we bag will go to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia to feed local families. It’s a fun event for a good cause! All you have to do is show up! Students can earn service hours by swiping-in with their Student ID at the event.</p> <p> It’s a “Food Fight!” There will be a student organization competition during the event. See if your student org has what it takes to bag the most sweet potatoes! The winning org will win a prize from the Center for Service and Civic Engagement. Your student org must pre-register for the event and report by 12:00 noon to participate in the competition.
