Copyright Expert to Speak on Faculty Publishing Agreements
<p> </p> <p> In recognition of Open Access Week, the Old Dominion University Libraries in partnership with the Office of Academic Affairs will host a lecture by Kimberly M. Bonner titled “Faculty Publishing Agreements: What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You, Your University and Your Peers”. </p> <p> She will speak at Old Dominion University on <strong>October 31, 2013, from 12:30-1:30 pm in room 1310-11 in the Learning Commons@Perry Library</strong>. Light refreshments will be served. </p> <p> </p> <p> The lecture will address issues relevant to anyone interested in publishing within academic/scholarly publications. Specific topics include publishing theses and dissertations, retaining intellectual property rights, and digital and open access publishing options.
