<p> <strong>Monarch Service Day</strong></p> <p> “Earn service hours and build ODU pride at this month's Monarch Service Day! ODU students have been making a difference at the 38th Street Community Garden. Be a part of the movement and show off your ODU community pride on October 19th! Join fellow students for a planting and harvesting event from noon to 3:00PM. We will be meeting at the McDonald's on the corner of Hampton and 41st street. The garden is a short walk from there. </p> <p> Master Gardeners will be there to help the students as well as provide information about community gardens. Community gardens are one of the many ways Norfolk is working towards ending food desserts, conserving resources, and enriching neighborhood relationships.
