Undergraduate Internship with ODU Libraries, $4000

ODU Libraries and the Library and Information Studies Program are happy to announce that we are accepting applications for the “Future Information Professionals Internship for Undergraduate Students.” The selection process prioritizes students who indentify as Black, Indigenious, or as a person of color. Please share this information with students who you think would be interested! The internship pays $4000 for the academic year and includes funding to attend the Virginia Library Association Conference, as well as other opportunities to learn about careers in library and information studies. During the spring semester interns will work 10 hours a week within the ODU Libraries, complete a project, and receive coaching on how to apply to graduate school. Please see the attached document or our webpage for details. Applications are due by September 12, 2022.

This project is funded by the IMLS Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian grant program. Questions? Contact Lucy Wittkower, lrush@odu.edu.
