Thankful for ODU - Week of Service!
Beginning MONDAY, November 14th, please join our Service-Learning Team, from the Office of Leadership & Learning, for one week of ways to give back to our campus & our local community. And remember, Monarchs, the number one reason we're thankful this season is for YOU! We hope to see you soon!
- MONDAY: Food drive begins to benefit the Monarch Pantry (donation bins located in each residence hall lobby, and in the lobby of the Student Success Center in Perry Library), and blanket making to benefit Project Linus (Whitehurst Lobby: 5:30pm)
- TUESDAY: Campus Clean Up - supplies and volunteers located at Whitehurst Beach and Rogers / Gresham Halls: 12:30pm - 1:30pm
- WEDNESDAY: On-campus blood drive with the American Red Cross (Webb Center: 9am - 4pm)
- THURSDAY: A "Pride Pack Party" in Gresham Hall (12:30pm - 1:30pm), sponsored by Enactus ("Pride Packs" are made with donated toiletry items and provided at no cost to ODU students in need), and "Monarchsgiving" (5:30pm - 8:30pm) in Broderick Dining Commons with ODU's Dining Services - meal kits being created to benefit local shelters
- FRIDAY: Unloading, sorting, and stocking donations at the Monarch Pantry (8am - 10am)
