NSF MRI TRACK 3 ADDED! - New Limited Submissions Opportunity

The National Science Foundation has revised the Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Program solicitation (see https://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2023/nsf23519/nsf23519.pdf) and added a new TRACK 3:

Track 3 MRI proposals are those that request funds from NSF greater than or equal to $100,0001 and less than or equal to $4,000,000 that include the purchase, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and instrumentation to conserve or reduce the consumption of helium. Institutions may submit no more than one Track 3 proposal.

If you are interested in submitting to Track 3, please email LimitedSubmissions@odu.edu by noon on December 5, 2022. If more than one PI is intertested in applying, an internal competition will be held.

NOTE: The Call for Interest in Tracks 1 and 2 was issued last month, and those slots are already filled for this competition.
