The TRiO McNair Scholars Program prepares students who are first-generation and low-income undergraduates and/or students who come from underrepresented racial or ethnic groups in graduate education to enroll in doctoral degree (Ph.D.) programs.

We are seeking upperclassmen (30+ credits) for the 2023-2024 academic year. Undergraduate students who meet the eligibility criteria below can attend the TRiO McNair Scholars Program interest meeting to apply.

Eligibility:

  • 3.0 GPA or Higher
  • Upperclassmen (30+ credits)
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • First Generation & Income Eligible and/or Underrepresented racial or ethnic group
