Curb Plagiarism in Your Courses | Workshop | 4/14

Preventing Student Plagiarism

One way to discourage plagiarism is to design assessments that emphasize writing mechanics, revision processes, and real-world relevance. In this workshop from the Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT), we’ll discuss the causes of student plagiarism at ODU and strategies for redesigning essay, research paper, and discussion post assignments.

The workshop also addresses plagiarism as a symptom of learning disabilities—and how to create accessible writing assignments.
