Mail Center COVID-19 Operational Hours
Mail Centers Operational Hours:
Monday – Friday from 8am-5pm
Using a rotational staff, the University Mail Center will provide the following services:
The Mail Center will operate on a 2-shift daily schedule
· 8am-1pm
· 1pm-5pm
We will continue to receive incoming university mail from the USPS and process in-house.
· There will be no department delivery, however departments can contact the Mail Center @ 683.3673 or contact Cornelius Singleton csinglet@odu.edu to arrange for any mail pick-up.
· Departments can continue to bring any prepared outgoing mail for postage and deliver to the USPS for processing.
Faculty/Staff Packages:
The following will be implemented for the handling of student mail during the COVID-19 Emergency duration:
· All mail packages are being routed from individual departments to the Mail Center and Facilities Warehouse for holding and processing.
· The Mail Center is coordinating with UPS, FedEx, and Amazon to have vendor received packages routed to the mail center for processing.
· The Mail Center and University Warehouse staff will send out notification via phone/email on the arrival of packages for pickup.
