Get Up to Speed Fast With CLT’s Online Workshops
The Center for Learning and Teaching is offering the following short, online-only workshops covering the basics of setting up your class in Blackboard and Zoom:
- Bb: Essentials: Provides an overview of ODU’s Blackboard Default Template and explains how to share instructional materials and communicate with your students through Bb. It also includes tips for novice online instructors who want to learn how to create content for an online course.
- 30-minute Bb Basics Open Session: Open session for Bb: Essentials.
- Bb: Assessments: Explores the assessment tools within a Blackboard course.
- Zoom Essentials: Introduces Zoom, an online meeting tool where faculty, staff, and students can engage in synchronous collaboration using text, audio, and video.
- Respondus Essentials: Introduces Respondus, a tool for preparing and managing exams that can be published directly to Blackboard.
