CLT Offers Special Workshop Series, Chance to Win Prize

The Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT) is holding a series of special workshops to help faculty develop their online courses.

Anyone who attends at least three of the workshops as well as CLT’s upcoming Faculty Summer Conference will be eligible to compete in a prize drawing.

The workshops and dates:

  • Online Discussions: Design Strategies and Essentials, 2:00pm-3:00pm March 31
  • Effective Recording Strategies, 11:00am-12:00pm March 26
  • Bb: Zoom Integration, 11:00am-12:00pm March 24
  • Going Pro With Your Videos, 1:00pm-2:00pm March 3, 10:00am-11:00am April 1
  • Preventing Student Plagiarism, 11:00am-12:00pm March 4, 1:00pm-2:00pm April 14

All the workshops are in Gornto Hall 101; some may also be attended by web conference. To register, visit the CLT Event System.

The 2020 Faculty Summer Conference, Transforming the Online Student Learning Experience, will take place May 19 and 20 at Chartway Arena at the Ted Constant Convocation Center. Through presentations, panels, workshops, and posters, participants will explore how to create an engaging learning experience for students in an online/hybrid setting.
