Incorporate Mobile Apps Into Your Course | Workshop | 9/12
Leveraging Mobile Apps for Teaching
In this hands-on workshop at the Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT), you’ll review apps that can encourage your students to actively engage with your course’s materials and assignments: HP Reveal, BaiBoard 3, Spark Video, Ideament, ClassDojo, and Socrative. You’ll also create sample activities such as mind-maps, interactive quizzes and games, collaborative whiteboards, video slideshows, image annotations, and an augmented-reality assignment.
Workshop activities will include how to enrich your students’ learning by choosing apps based on Bloom’s Taxonomy, along with tips and technical considerations for each app.
CLT will provide iPads during the workshop. No iPad experience is required. Bring your own tablet or Android device, if you prefer.
