Safe Space Fall 2019 Training Information
Each semester, Safe Space hosts several ally certification training sessions for the University community. These training sessions will provide an overview of what it means to be an “ally” for ODU faculty, staff, and students while also educating the University on issues, trends, and concerns related to the LGBTQIA+ population. The fall 2019 Safe Space ally certification training schedule is below:
Session 1: T 09/24 and R 09/26
- Time: 9:00AM-1:00PM
- Location: Webb Center/Cape Charles Room
Session 2: M 10/28 and W 10/30
- Time: 12:30PM-4:30PM
- Location: Webb Center/Cape Charles Room
Session 3: T 11/19 and R 11/21
- Time: 9:00AM-1:00PM
- Location: Webb Center/Potomac York Room
