Laboratory Safety Training

The Environmental Health and Safety Office will be presenting Laboratory Safety Training on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in MGB 102 during Activity Hour (12:20-1:20) for all faculty and staff who work in areas where hazardous chemicals are used or stored.  This training is only required once, but is recommended to be repeated every three years to ensure information is current and that faculty and staff remain knowledgeable regarding laboratory safety requirements.

Additional training sessions will be offered on September 8, 2016 at 10 am to 11 am in the Chesapeake Room of Webb Center, as well as the first Thursday of each month at the same time and location.  Space is limited for these sessions so please email ehsdept@odu.edu to reserve a spot.  Please feel free to contact us at 683-4495 should you have any questions or concerns.
