Audition for ALICE (workshop only)

A modern, Southern, all-American re-imagining of Alice In Wonderland, written by Lee Smith and directed by Katherine Hammond.

ALICE combines a fantabulous book by Lee Smith, lyrical and heartfelt music by local troubadour Skye Zentz, cutting edge technology, colorful, fanciful costumes, and energetic performances.

Modern, Southern, and all American, Alice finds herself in a world she doesn’t recognize and doesn’t know how to navigate. As her life becomes “curiouser and curiouser,” she learns to believe in the impossible, in herself, and in her own “muchness”.

Auditions for the workshop will be held Mon-Tues Oct 3-4 from 7-9 pm in the University Theatre's studio (Rm 1002).

Prepare 2 contrasting monologues and 1 unaccompanied song, each 1 minute or less.

Callbacks: Thurs Oct 6 from 7-9 pm in the studio.

Workshop reading: Sun Nov 13
