Student Engagement Workshop Series

How can you best engage your students in their learning?  This series will help you consider ways to motivate your students, facilitate active engagement, foster reflection and review, and learn new methods of assessment and giving feedback.

The entire series will be offered twice this semester – first on Tuesdays, and later (after Fall break) on Thursdays.

Motivate Students to Prepare for your Class
When: Thursday, October 20 from 12:30-1:45pm

Facilitate Active Engagement
When: Thursday, November 3 from 12:30-1:45pm

Foster Reflection and Review
When: Thursday, November 17 from 12:30-1:45pm

Leverage Assessment and Feedback
When: Tuesday, October 4 from 12:30-1:45pm
            Thursday, December 1 from 12:30-1:45pm

Where: CLT’s Faculty Development Lab, Gornto 101. The workshops will be available, as well, via live two-way video, for instructors who cannot participate on the main campus.
