WordPress: Creating your Faculty Website
WordPress is a popular online tool for building websites—no coding needed! It offers flexible, customizable features, templates and options. Use it to create websites for courses, conferences, research activities, e-portfolios and much more.
In this hands-on workshop at the Center for Learning and Teaching, you’ll explore the features of the WordPress system. Topics covered will include: creating your ODU WordPress site, using themes, adding content and interactivity, using plugins and widgets, importing websites into WordPress, and how to find tutorials or support for using WordPress.
When: Friday, September 9 from 10:00am-noon
Friday, October 7 from 10:00am-noon
Friday, November 4 from 10:00am-noon
Where: Gornto 101, The Center for Learning and Teaching’s Faculty Development Lab in CLT’s Faculty Development Lab (Gornto 101), and the workshop will also be available for participation via WebConferencing (WebEx).
