Prezi: Learn the Basics for Online Presentations
Tired of PowerPoint? Prezi is a presentation software and storytelling tool for presenting your ideas on a virtual canvas. In this hands-on workshop, you will have a chance to learn how to create a dynamic and interactive presentation.
The Prezi workshop allows you to gain experience using and navigating Prezi, a presentation software that is customizable with zooming features. You will have a chance to use Prezi, hands-on, as you learn its basic tools and functionalities. As you leave the workshop, you should have a grasp of Prezi’s features and comfort with using the tool.
When: Wednesday, August 24 from 10:00am-noon
Wednesday, October 19 from 1:30-3:30pm
Where: The Center for Learning and Teaching’s Faculty Development Lab, Gornto 101. The workshop will be available, as well, via live two-way video, for instructors who cannot participate on the main campus.
