ODU Alerts Test Thursday, June 30 at 2 p.m.

Old Dominion University will enhance its alert system capabilities with a move this month to a new delivery system. In preparation, a test of the new ODU Alerts text messaging system will take place on Thursday, June 30.

The test will include two text messages with “TEST ODU Alerts” in the subject line. The first message will be sent at approximately 2 p.m. and the second message will be sent after the test has concluded.

Students, faculty and staff who have not already signed up to receive alerts should visit the ODU health and safety website to register for the free service.

If you have previously registered to receive ODU Alerts text messages, there is nothing you need to do to continue receiving them.
